The Accounting Assistant supports the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and reconciling accounts
- Assisting senior staff with account processing and analysis
- Preparing reports and schedules, processing and recording transactions
- Assisting with tax schedule generation and preparation for filing
- Ensuring timely and accurate report submissions and
- Performing other tasks as assigned by superiors
Nice to have
- Experience in GP or any accounting Applications
- Preferable with experiene in GP or any accounting applications/s
- Works well in a team
- Can handle work with minimum supervision
- Can manage time and work with deadlines.
Must Have
- Courses specializing in Accounting, Finance or any relevant courses;
- 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience
- With experience in audit or reconciliation
- Proficient in the use of excel and google workspace
- Average communication skills
